DYING FETUS To Tour U.S. With ARSIS, MISERY INDEX
March 25, 2010Maryland-based extreme metallers DYING FETUS will head out on a month-long U.S. headlining tour, dubbed "Facemelter 2010", beginning in early May. Support on the trek will come from ARSIS, MISERY INDEX, CONDUCTING FROM THE GRAVE and ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY. This run immediately follows DYING FETUS' appearance on the European Thrash And Burn Tour and will also include performances at the California Metalfest and Midwest Fuckfest.
Prior to the Thrash And Burn European tour, DYING FETUS will visit Russia and the Ukraine for the first time.

DYING FETUS' latest album, "Descend Into Depravity", sold around 2,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 166 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at position No. 4 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. Released on September 15, 2009 via Relapse Records, the follow-up to 2007's "War Of Attrition" was recorded at Wright Way Studios in the group's hometown with producer Steve Wright.
